Lynn Witherspoon

Lynn is known as “Big Sister” at A3 and has a reputation as a multi-tasker. Her primary role is tending to the financial side of the company which includes billing, payables and receivables. Her favorite role though is attempting to break websites before they are turned over to clients to be tested. Lynn is also involved in marketing decisions and editing company documents. She is known to whip out her rubber band gun from time to time to keep her co-workers in line.

Greensboro is Lynn's hometown. She has also lived in Concord, NC and Asheville, NC. She and her boyfriend adopted 3 cats in 2008. She majored in Biology at UNC-G, but wandered into the IT realm back in 2002 after working for the Natural Science Center of Greensboro and the original Earth Fare store in Asheville.

Hiking and camping has been Lynn's favored combo for years. She prefers to go on vacations in places where she can either learn about the local history or explore nature. She is attempting to be a successful gardener (aka stop killing plants) and eventually would love to learn how to use her nice sewing machine. Lynn makes her own jewelry and has a severe tank top fetish. She is definitely A3's employee most likely to be deemed a ‘tree hugger'. You can usually tell that she is around by the sound of “flip-flop, flip-flop”.

Lynn was the Assistant Naturalist at the Natural Science Center of Greensboro for seven years, which consisted of taking care of the reptiles, amphibians and aquatic life. She also became the Science Center's first Weekend Supervisor at the age of 19. In 2005 she met Jack Hanna at a Science Center fundraiser and soon after had the opportunity to go to New York City and help take care of animals that Jack appeared with on three national television shows.

“Even if I know that my work day is going to be rough, I still look forward to seeing my coworkers. It says a lot when you consider your coworkers to be your friends.”

Testimonials

I just wanted to thank all of you for keeping our heads above water when our systems went down.  If it were not for your group putting in numerous hours of work this weekend and Monday, we would have lost numerous clients.  Because of you, we were up and running with a new server Monday morning at 90% and 100% by that afternoon!  That is incredible!  Thanks again for the long hours this weekend. --  Robert, Production Manager
