Our Story - Team

Matt is a Senior Engineer of Software and Linux Solutions.   He's the resident Linux and Open Source geek working primarily as a developer using open source technologies. He also acts as lead architect on various software projects as well as helping to oversee the A3 Linux systems and processes. In true geek style Matt's favorite part about his job is that he gets use cool open source software to solve business problems every day.

 

On the personal side, Matt is married with 2 boys (3yrs and 1yr) that were born right here in Greensboro.  He grew up mostly in the now bustling Huntersville, NC.  He's a true family man because his time away from work is devoted to his brood. "We're at the park every day weather permitting." He also has a homebuilt PVR that is broken half the time, but he still thinks it's fun to work on.

 

On a side note, Matt met his wife, Amy, while in college.  But it almost didn't happen because she thought he was someone else she knew when a mutual friend tried to get them together and didn't want to go on the date.  It's a good thing for him she realized the lovable guy he is.
